Traditionally, entrepreneurship has not been a major characteristic of the Black community. Its absence translates into generations of young people not getting the needed encouragement and assistance to become financially independent or risk takers. However, there are some members of the community who are taking steps to foster the entrepreneurial spirit in young people.
