Every time I see pictures of the Muslim refugees fleeing the horror of living under Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, Syria’s chemical gas butcher and Russian ally, and the rape of teen girls of the Yazidi religious minority tribe that the ISIS soldiers brand as "sabaya" (slave property), I am reminded that the rapist justified his behavior with a questionable interpretation of the Islamic bible that he said justifies his savage behavior because he believes that his victims are slaves that his deity has given him to do with as he pleases.
The New York Times reported: "One 34-year-old Yazidi woman, who was bought and repeatedly raped by a Saudi fighter in the Syrian city of Shadadi, described how she fared better than the second slave in the household — a 12-year-old girl who was raped for days on end despite heavy bleeding.
"He destroyed her body. She was badly infected. The fighter kept coming and asking me, ‘Why does she smell so bad?’ And I said, she has an infection on the inside, you need to take care of her,' the woman said.
"Unmoved, he ignored the girl’s agony, continuing the ritual of praying before and after raping the child.
“I said to him, ‘She’s just a little girl,’ the older woman recalled. 'And he answered: ‘No. She’s not a little girl. She’s a slave. And she knows exactly how to have sex.’ “And having sex with her pleases God,” he said. This is also the mentality of the European and American women who are traveling to ISIS Syria to “marry” into this primitive culture as jihad concubines and/or courtesans. Compare that nightmare with the noble and courageous legacy of Steve Jobs, the former brilliant American CEO of Apple, whose father was born in Syria. Jobs, a Silicon Valley icon, was a great American by any standard, his hallmark was turning out game-changing products. That’s why the front-page picture in the Wall Street Journal (12/15/15) of happy, beautiful refugee children who have fled the devastated regions of ISIS-occupied Syria and Iraq and are being temporarily housed and fed by the German government, so profoundly touched me.
And every time I am reminded of the Steve Jobs American Silicon Valley success story, I also hope there is another legal and vetted Steve Jobs headed this way toward freedom and opportunity, among this largest mass migration since WWII. I equally hope that U. S. authorities are astute enough to detect the terrorists because half of the Islamist terrorists hiding among the innocent and suffering, mostly Muslim, refugees are from war-torn Syria. In fact, one Syrian refugee was arrested at a German shelter yesterday (12/17/15) on suspicion of links to the Islamist state, the Wall Street Journal reported (WSJ, 12/18/15).

It is neither politically nor economically practical for the U. S. to host such a huge influx of fleeing migrants from ISIS-controlled areas of Syria and Iraq or the Middle East, nor can the U. S. successfully vet this migration wave or underwrite this financial albatross. So what is a pragmatic, moral and prudent U. S. role in this troublesome scenario?
To compound this complex matter, an indifferent and permissive Obama American-Socialist administration and its reluctant socialist European allies did nothing, as usual, as Iran broke another U. N. resolution by testing a ballistic missile capable of delivering atomic bombs to both of Iran’s Satans, the U. S. and Israel. The U. S. response: Send Iran a $150 billion sanctions compensation (“U. N. Experts Say Iran Missile Firing Violated Sanctions,” Dec. 16, 2015, p. 1, WSJ -- www.wsj.com/articles/u-n-experts-say-iran-missile-firing-violated-sanctions-1450210189?mod=trending_now_3). Believe it or not.
Moreover, Muslim refugee camps in the U. S. and Europe are not the answer to this American foreign policy blunder.
